What is Death Cafe?
Susan of Going My Way Death Care is the current caretaker of the Colorado Springs Death Cafe group.
A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives, or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session. Our aim is to increase awareness of death to help people make the most of their finite lives.
The objective is simply to create an open, safe, and confidential space where people can share thoughts, concerns, and curiosities about mortality over tea and cake. All are welcome, regardless of background or belief.
For information specifically about the local Colorado Springs Death Cafe, please visit their Facebook page here: Colorado Springs Death Cafe on Facebook.
